Not Your Average Pet Site is dedicated to the brilliant Korean-based, 3D virtual pet game, GoPets which is accessed through gopetslive.com. This site was opened on the 21st of February 2006 and is hosted on one of my domains, Truedestinies.com.But What is a Fanlisting?
According to TFL a fanlisting is "a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject."About GoPets and Why I Love It!
GoPets officially exited beta in 2005 and has steadily grown since then as a client, web or msn based 3D Virtual Pet Game that shows innovation and style that far exceeds any other pet game on the net.I have been playing GoPets since late 2005 and have watched it grow so much in the past years and yet my love for it and my pets has never faultered. With a wonderful and giving community as well as adorable pets and items the site really has so much going for it. Users can interact in a proper MMO environment, jumping to neighbours and other peoples lands to visit or in the traditional sense of visiting the forums and chilling out.
Like any game GoPets does have its ups and downs, its problems and glitches but with a hardworking staff who are highly involved with the forums all problems are normally addressed quickly or at the very least you know they are aware of it and its being fixed. This is the main thing I love, the fact that the staff have not forgotten the users and keep them in the loop as much as possible.
Oh and lets not forget the fantastic graphics and 3D environments you can create, especially with the introduction of customisable clothes and furniture. Heres a couple of shots of my land.
